my one in a million girl:
love isn't just found, it's also placed in front of you by god, and this song out of all the millions of people out there in the world, there is only one in a million that is meant for you.
holy moment:
if there is one way to spread the love through out all the world, then this would be it. one doesn't need to be perfect or completely holy or even a believer. if one shares just one holy moment or good deed to 3 people, and those people shared that holy moment to 3 new people, and that goes forth 12 times, you reach 1,500,000 people, and if that is done 20 times, you can reach the entire world. just start by sharing one holy moment.
country life:
2019 was the start to a journey for his dad, a battle of cancer, first in the lungs, he beat it, and now 7 years later, it is brain, and now he is currently fighting strong with that. this song was initially written in 2018, but this song would go on to be a staple to fighting the fight for cancer, and a huge thank you to my dad, and a huge thank you to our lord and saviour jesus christ to keep the good fight going with a very tough man. love you dad.
Acoustic album 2016:
buck up: a song about a time in his youth where he'd go cut a rug and go boot stomping down at a venue called cowboy up in mendon, mi. this song is high drive and will hit you hard in the face.
grandpa & wings: when tyler was a little lad just before starting elementary school he had broken his arm playing on the monkey bars in pre school, and during that time his grandpa and him would spread their wings chasing birds in the backyard
me and my dad: tyler's first song ever written, his dad taught him how to hunt and fish where it had impacted and influenced him the rest of his life to love the outdoors. fishing bass tournaments, hunting deer, and chasing those american birds, the wild turkey.
making a change: back in february of 2012 would be the last time tyler would get blackout drunk, and although still chasing women in his youth, this time frame would start the change of turning back to continuously believing in god, going to church, and having a relationship with jesus.
the cowboy: another song based around the stomping grounds hanging out with the boys line dancing down at a bar called Cowboy up.
be a man: there was a transition in life where one has to grow up, and that's what this older tune is about.
big boy weekend summercamp: every summer is where the family would have a fun weekend at the cabin in a town called evart, mi. every fourth of july and labor day weekend would be many float trips down the muskegon river, and anything beyond, whatever happened at the cabin, stayed at the cabin. this leaves a lifetime of great memories.
blue eyes and sunshine: an old reminiscent memory.
i gotta go: sometimes when things aren't going well in a relationship, you just gotta go.
you can't buy me: strong family roots where no label, no amount of money or things can buy tyler away from his family, when he's on the road, he's on the road, and as soon as the show is done, straight home to be there for the family during the week is where he'll always be showing up for anything for all of his children.
paints with his guitar: this song was a tune written with hit songwriter jimbeau hinson who had since past, little did he know, this would elevate each written song to becoming a song beloved by many others. also this song best encompasses how tyler will pour his soul out of a song directly to any crowd listening. all credit to Beautiful jim.
